Was translating a few weeks ago, and these are the nurses checking for lice on this girl. I thought it was probably a new thing for them, so I snapped a quick one! They found it fascinating…
THOU SHALT NOT SCRATCH THYSELF is the motto to this picture. It’s called ketoids, and the nurse says people that are dark skinned are more prone to this…it starts with something small, like a mosquito bite and they scratch it too much…this has been like this for this lady since she was 15! So yeah, next time you have an uncontrollable desire to scratch remember this!!!

Harjy’s interesting method of drying up the rug. We would scrub and she had to dry it after we finished each spot. I guess she got tired of being on her hands and knees and decided that scooting across this way was easier. It was hysterical to see her do it!
Us three rug-cleaners…it took us a LONG time to get that thing clean!!
Close to the end when exhaustion sets in….ok, so we mighta made it a little worse than it was!

Went to a missionarie’s retreat, and here are some of the people…am having a problem with uploading pics today…even had some more nice, pics of clinic work, but they were being stubborn, so it’s only a few of each!
Pastor Steve and his daughter Tanisha…they were both such an encouragement!
Saw the Troyers again and this is Rachel being crazy! Us youth stayed up till around 3 one morning when there wasn’t curfew and this is the result of some of our sleepiness.
Finally got to meet Helen Brown…and then there’s Amy and Brianna–both so sweet!
There’s Roman and one of the little girls that he was always carrying around!
Ok…that’s all peoples…

Glad to see you updated again!! Our internet is down so am at the library. Thar sunset is so COOL!! Looks like the sky is on fire! Wow, I love all your pictures. When I think of Latin American countries, I think of absolute poverty and often disease, which I’m sure they have their share of those, but your pictures always make the country look so beautiful and inviting. Well, not the clinic ones.
